Participants will learn:

Intro to maps, map features and data, terrain features and reading elevation, intro to coordinate systems, reading a utm/mgrs grid coordinate, plotting a point, plotting a route/route plans, intro to compass, reading a compass, pace counts, analogue map and compass navigation techniques, resection and intersection, practical application exercises.
